Up Close tallies every page view with a cookie-free counter, and a separate firm that compiles the figures receives your network address, browser type and referring page. The site has no forms, comments or newsletter, and a chosen theme is kept in the browser tab only.
What the site keeps
Forms, comments and a newsletter are all absent from the site. With no betting and no accounts either, a reader is never asked to fill anything in. Readers are never asked for anything. Every page view still adds to a tally that leaves no trace in the browser, and an outside tool that totals the visits is handed the visitor's device address and browser make. A theme choice is kept only in the browser tab.

Each paid link on this site bears the Ad mark, and no page apart from the home page holds one. The total is three: the menu carries one, another sits right under the first screen, and the last is near the bottom of the page.
